if u have to find value of x then

(x + 1) = 0 and (x - 2) = 0

x = -1 and x= 2

if u have to find equation then

(x+1) (x - 2) = 0

x^2 + x - 2x - 2= 0

x^2 - x - 2 = 0 is the required equation
