Given :  (x  + 1)/(x -2)  +  (x + 11)/(x + 3)   = y

To find : Roots of the Equations

Solution:

to find roots/Zeroes lets put y = 0

(x  + 1)/(x -2)  +  (x + 11)/(x + 3)   = 0

multiplying both sides by (x - 2)(x + 3)

=> (x + 1)(x + 3)  + (x + 11)(x - 2)  = 0

=> x² + 4x  + 3  + x² + 9x - 22 = 0

=> 2x² + 13x  - 19  = 0

=> x   = (- 13  ± √(169 + 152 )/4

=> x  = ( - 13  ± √321 )/4

if Question is

(x  + 1)/(x -2)  +  (x + 1)/(x + 3)   = 0

multiplying both sides by (x - 2)(x + 3)

=> (x + 1)(x + 3)  + (x + 1)(x - 2)  = 0

=> (x + 1)(x + 3 + x - 2) = 0

=> (x + 1)(2x + 1) = 0

=> x = -1  , x  = -1/2
