x-1/x=3 solve it by factorisation method

x - 1/x = 3
⇒x² - 1 = 3x
⇒x² - 3x - 1 = 0

Roots are = $\frac{-b+ \sqrt{ b^{2}-4ac } }{2a}$ and $\frac{-b- \sqrt{b^{2} -4ac} }{2a}$

So roots are $\frac{1}{2}(3+ \sqrt{13} )$ and $\frac{1}{2}(3- \sqrt{13} )$
