x+1/x+5=3

Step-by-step explanation: x+1/x+5=3

Cross multiply

=3(x+5)=x+1

=3x+15=x+1

Put like digits togather,

3x-x=1-15

2x=-14

x=-14/2=-7

Therefore value of x is -7
