Answer:

Here

on putting x + 1 = 0, we get x = -1

put x = -1 in p(x) we get

(-1)cube + (-1) square - (-1) + 1

= (-1) + (1) + 1 + 1

= 2

Since, we didn’t got zero ( 0 ).

Therefore, x +1 is NOT a FACTOR of given Polynomial

Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{(x + 1)}{x {}^{3} + x {}^{2}  + x + 1 }  \\  =  \frac{(x + 1)}{( {x}^{2}  + 1)(x + 1)}  \\  =  \frac{1}{( {x}^{2} + 1) }
