X.10. A teacher finds a student wasting food. The dialogue between the teacher and student
is given below. Rewrite the dialogue into a story.
Teacher: Why are you dumping your food in the dust bin?
Student: I can't finish all at once as my mother packed more than enough food.
Teacher: Don't you know that wasting food is not a good habit?
Student: But Teacher, I have only thrown away the veggies that I dislike.
Teacher: If you throw away the vegetables continuously, your body won't obtain the
nutrients you need. Then, you will fall sick often.
Student: Okay Teacher, I will not waste my food hereafter.
Teacher: Okay, that's good.

Avoid Wastage

One afternoon, when all the students and teachers were having their lunch during the recess hour, one of the teachers noticed a student dumping his food into the dust bin. She hurried over to him and asked him why he was doing so. The student replied by saying that he could not finish all the food since his mother had packed more than enough for him. The teacher then asked him whether he was unaware of the fact that wasting food is a bad habit. The student said that he was only throwing away the vegetables he did not like, however, the teacher firmly replied saying that by avoiding these vegetables his body will not get the required nutrients and he would fall sick often. The student then understood and said that he will never waste his food again to which the teacher commended him.
