x+11y=1,8x+13y=2 solve the following simultaneous equation

Answer:

x+11y=1

multiply by 8 we get

8x+88y=8 ............. (1)

and 8x+13y= 2 ........(2)

eq1 - eq2

75y=6, y = 2/25

and x= 1-11y = 1-22/25= 3/25
