SOLUTION:

(i) 125 gm : 1 kg.

∴ 125 : 1000

$=\frac{125}{1000} =\frac{1}{8}$

(ii) 275m : 3km

∴ 275 : 3000

$=\frac{275}{3000} =\frac{11}{120}$

(iii) 36 minutes : 112 hours

∴ 36 : 3720

$=\frac{36}{6720}=\frac{3}{560}$

(iV) 4 days : 2 weak

∴ 4 : 14

$=\frac{4}{14} =\frac{2}{7}$

(V) 8 months : 12 years

∴ 8 : 144

$=\frac{8}{144}=\frac{1}{8}$

(vi) 75 paise : 3 rupees

∴ 75 : 300

$=\frac{75}{300} =\frac{1}{4}$
