Answer :

  • Answer is x = 2.

Given :

  • x/2 - 1/4(x - 1/3) = 1/6(x + 1) + 1/12

To find :

  • Value

Solution :

➝ x/2 - 1/4(x - 1/3) = 1/6(x + 1) + 1/12

Now , we have to multiply each term by 12 we get,

➝ 12x/2 - 12/4(x - 1/3) = 12x/6(x + 1) + 12/12

➝ 6x - 3(x - 1/3) = 2(x + 1) + 1

➝ 6x - 3x + 1 = 2x + 2 + 1

➝ 3x + 1 = 2x + 3

➝ 3x - 2x = 3 - 1

➝ x = 2

Hence , Answer is x = 2.

Verification :

➝ 6x - 3x + 1 = 2x + 2 + 1

➝ 6(2) - 3(2) + 1 = 2(2) + 2 + 1

➝ 12 - 6 + 7 = 4 + 3

➝ 6 - 13 = 7

➝ 7 = 7

Hence , Verified
