Answer:-

Zeores are -1 and 1

Solution:-

⇒ x²-1

⇒ (x)²-(1)²

Here we can apply identity:

A²-B²=(A+B)(A-B)

⇒ (x-1)(x+1)

⇒ x=-1,1

So the zeroes are -1 and 1.

Verification:-

Put values of x=-1 and 1 in given equation.

⇒ x²-1

Put x=-1

⇒ (-1)²-1

⇒ 1-1

⇒ 0

put value of x=1 in equation.

⇒ x²-1

⇒ (1)²-1

⇒ 1-1

⇒ 0

Since value of equation comes out to be 0 by both the roots, these are factors.

Hence justified
