(x/2 - 2/3y)³= (x/2)³ - (2/3y)³ - 3×x/2×2/3y (x/2 - 2/3y)

= x³/8 - 3/27y³ - 6x/6y (x/2- 2/3y)

= x³/8 - 8/27y³ - 6x²/12y + 12x²/18y²
