 \frac{x}{2}  - 2 =  \frac{x}{3}   + 1 \\  \frac{x}{2}  -  \frac{x}{3}  = 1 + 2 \\  \frac{3x  - 2x}{6}  = 3 \\  \frac{x}{6}  = 3 \\ x = 3 \times 6 = 18

GIVEN EQUATION :-

\sf{ \dfrac{x}{2} - 2 =  \dfrac{x}{3} + 1  }

TO FIND :-

\sf\dashrightarrow  \dfrac{x}{2} -  \dfrac{x}{3}   = 1 + 2 \\  \\

\sf\dashrightarrow  \dfrac{3x - 2x}{6}   = 3 \\  \\

\sf\dashrightarrow x = 6 \times 3 \\  \\

\sf\dashrightarrow x = \textsf{\textbf{18}} \\

VERIFICATION :-

\sf\dashrightarrow{ \dfrac{x}{2} - 2 =  \dfrac{x}{3} + 1  } \\  \\

\sf\dashrightarrow{ \dfrac{18}{2} - 2 =  \dfrac{18}{3} + 1  } \\  \\

\sf\dashrightarrow{ 9 - 2 =  6 + 1  } \\  \\

\sf\dashrightarrow{7 = 7}

LHS = RHS.

Hence, Verified.
