Question

x^2 + 20x - 8000
This eqn could be solved and has 2 different solutions why?
=>x^2 + 40x - 20x - 8000
=>x(x+40) - 20(x+40)
=>(x-20)(x+40)

But also,
=>x^2 + 100x - 80x - 8000
=>x(x+100) - 80(x+100)
=>(x-80)(x+100)

What is this? Plz help

brother 40×20=800 not 8000 so ur first case is wrong.

but if it is some value like speed , number of students then negative value wil be rejected.
