SOLUTION ☺️

 =  >  {x}^{2}  - 2x - (a + 3)(a + 1) \\  =  >  {x}^{2}  - 2x +  1 - (a {}^{2}  + 4a + 4) \\  =  > (x - 1) {}^{2}  - (a + 2) {}^{2}  \\  =  > (x - 1 + a + 2)(x - 1 - a - 2) \\  =  > (x + a + 1)(x - a - 3)
