x/2+3/4 (x-x/2)+9=0

x/2+3/4×(2x-x/2)+9=0

x/2+(6x-3x/8)+9=0

(8x+12x-6x)/16+9=0

14x/16+9=0

7x/8+9=0

7x+72/8=0

7x+72=0

7x= -72

x= -72/7

x= -10.2
