Answer:

the answer would be 3

Step-by-step explanation:

by factorising the answer, the two zeroes obtained would be 2 and 1.

let 2 be alpha and 1 be beta,

2^2 - 1^2 = 3

hope it helped for a one-marker question

\Large{\underbrace{\sf{\red{Required\:Solution:}}}}

⛦ Given :

  • x²-3x+2=0

⛦ To find :

 \alpha  {}^{2}  -  \beta  {}^{2}  = ?

⛦ Solution :

As the equation is written in the form

ax² + bx + c = 0

x²-3x+2=0

⟹x²-2x-1x+2=0

⟹x(x-2)-1(x-2)=0

⟹(x-2)•(x-1)=0

⟹x-2=0 or x-1=0

⟹x=2 or x=1

∴2 and 1 are the roots of x²-3x+2 are 2 or 1

let , X= α and β

we have to find:-

⟹α²-β²= (α -β)•(α+ β)

⟹α²-β²= (2 -1)•(2+ 1)

⟹α²-β²= (1)•(3)

⟹α²-β²= 3
