Step-by-step explanation:

X²+3x+2

MULTIPLY COEFFICIENT OF X² TO 2

THAT IS 1×2=2

NOW FIND THE TWO FACTORS OF 2 WHICH HAS SUM OF 3

Thats 2 and 1

split

x²+2x+x+2

take common terms in both

x(x+2)+1(x+2)

as we got 2 terms same x+2 take it only once

x+1)+(x+2)

x+1=0

x=-1

Or for another value

x+2=0x=-2
