x \:  =  \frac{ - b \: ± \:  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4ac} } {2a}  \\  \\  =  \frac{4± \sqrt{16 - 4} }{2}  \\ \\   = \frac{4± \sqrt{12} }{2}   \\  \\


Now,
 x = \frac{4 +  \sqrt{12} }{2}  \\ \\



And

x =  \frac{4 -  \sqrt{12} }{2}  \\  \\
