Answer :

  • We are solving it through quadratic formula .
  • For finding x
  • It is a complex question but once you understand the explanation , It will be easy for you.

x ^ { 2 } -4x+5=0

x=\dfrac{-\left(-4\right)±\sqrt{{4}^{2}-4\times 5}}{2}

x=\dfrac{-\left(-4\right)±\sqrt{16-4\times 5}}{2}

x=\dfrac{-\left(-4\right)±\sqrt{16-20}}{2}

x=\dfrac{-\left(-4\right)±\sqrt{-4}}{2}

x=\dfrac{-\left(-4\right)±2i}{2}

x=\dfrac{4±2i}{2}

x=\dfrac{4+2i}{2}

x=2+i

x=\dfrac{4-2i}{2}

x=2-i

Thus, we can consider the value of x,

  • x=2+i

  • x=2−i

Thank you !! :D
