Solution

x²+4x+7

now.....

b {}^{2}  - 4ac = 4 {}^{2}  - 4(1)(7) \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: = 16 - 28 \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:   =  - 12 < 0

so this quadratic equations will not have any real values or zeroes...

so it can't be split into factorised form.

hope this helps you

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2 + 4x + 7

a = 1

b = 4

c = 7

D = b^2 -4ac

= (4)^2 - 4(1) (7)

= 16 - 28

= - 12.

x = -b +√D

----------

2a

the roots will be no real roots as D = (-12)

hope this helps you...
