Step-by-step explanation:
x^2 + 4x + 7
a = 1
b = 4
c = 7
D = b^2 -4ac
= (4)^2 - 4(1) (7)
= 16 - 28
= - 12.
x = -b +√D
----------
2a
the roots will be no real roots as D = (-12)
