Answer:  x = 30

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:  \frac{x}{2} = 5 +\frac{x}{3}

To find: x

Solution:

⇒   \frac{x}{2} = 5 +\frac{x}{3}

⇒   \frac{x}{2} = \frac{15+x}{3} \\                     [Taking LCM = 3 on RHS]

⇒  3 x = 2( 15 + x)           [By cross multiplication]

⇒   3 x =  30 + 2 x

⇒   3 x - 2x = 30             [Shifting 2x to LHS]

⇒    x = 30

Hence, the value of x is 30

Thanks!
