hey mate ur answer is....
x²+5x-10=0
x²+(2-7)x-10=0
x²+2x-7x-10=0
x(x+2)-7(x+2)=0
=x+2=0
=x=-2
=x-7=0
=x=7
hope may be right.....

x^2+5x-14=0
a=1,b=5,c=-15
therefore ,D=b^2-4ac
D=5^2-4×1×(-14)
D=25+56
D=81
now,
x= -b+√D/2a,x=-b-√D/2a
x=-5+√81/2×1,x=-5-√81/2×1
x=-5+9/2,x=-5-9/2
x=4/2,x=-14/2
x=2,-7
Hence, roots of quadratic equation is 2,-7.
