Here is your answer.

Given expression..  → x² + 5(x) 

Value of  x = (-3)

Therefore the value of the equation when we substitute x = -3 is:

(-3)² + 5(-3) =  9 - 15 = - 6

So, the value of x² + 5x = -6.
