 \frac{x}{2}  = 2 =  > x = 2  \times 2 = 4 \\  \\  \\  \frac{6}{y}  = 2 \\  \\  =  > 6 = 2y \\  \\  =  > y =  \frac{6}{2}  = 3

Hence x=4,y=3

Now x+y=4+3=7 ( Answer).
