x^2 - 6x = -3

x^2 - 2 × 3x + 3^2 = -3 + 3^2

(x-3)^2 = -3 + 9

(x-3)^2 = 6

x-3 = under root of 6

x-3 = + 6

+ve

x = 3 + under root of 6

-ve

x = 3 + under root of -6
