 {x}^{2}  +  6x + 4 = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  + (3 +  \sqrt{5} )x + (3 -  \sqrt{5} )x  + (3 +  \sqrt{5} )(3 -  \sqrt{5} ) = 0 \\ x(x + 3 +  \sqrt{5} ) + (3 -  \sqrt{5} )( x + 3 +  \sqrt{5} ) = 0 \\ (x + 3 +  \sqrt{5} )(x + 3 -  \sqrt{5} ) = 0 \\  =  > x =  - 3 +  \sqrt{5}  \\  =  > x =  - 3 -  \sqrt{5}
hope it helps
