x^2-9x+1=0

a= 1

b= -9

c= 1

By quadratic formula,

Discriminant = b^2 - 4ac

D = (-9)^2 - 4*1*1

= 81 - 4

= 77

Therefore, roots = -b ± √D ÷ 2a

So, x = 9 + √77 / 2

or x = 9 - √77 / 2
