Given that:- (x+2) is a factor. Then x= -2

So putting the value of x in the equation.

==>(-2)³ - 3(-2)² + 3(-2) -1 = 0

==> -8 - 12 -6 -1 = 0

==> p(x) = -27

hope it helps you friend!

Answer:

Consider the given polynomial,

x 2−x+1 is a factor of x

3 −3x

2 +3x−2 when Remainder is zero.

As shown in the figure.

Quotient is x−2.

Remainder is 0.

Hence, x

2−x+1 is a factor of x 3 −3x

2+3x−2
