So here's u r answer !!

Put x = 1 in the given polynomial

( 1 ) ^2 + K ( 1 ) + 3 = 0

1 + 3 + K = 0

4 + K = 0

K = - 4

f(x) =  {x}^{2}  + kx + 3 \\ f(1) =  {(1)}^{2}  + k \times 1 + 3 = 0 \\ 1 + k + 3 = 0 \\  k + 4 = 0 \\ k =  - 4
