x+2/3 -x-3/4=5-x-1/2

2/3-3/4=5-x-1/2

-1/6=10-2x-1

-1=60-12x-6

-1-54=-12x

55/12=x

sonp: good but sorry the answer is -7

Answer:

The solution of the expression is x=\frac{37}{31}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Expression \frac{x+2}{3}-\frac{x-3}{4}=(5-x)-\frac{1}{2}

To find : The solution of the expression ?

Solution :

Step 1 - Write the expression,

\frac{x+2}{3}-\frac{x-3}{4}=(5-x)-\frac{1}{2}

Step 2 - Take LCM,

\frac{4(x+2)-3(x-3)}{12}=\frac{2(5-x)-1}{2}

Step 3 - Solve,

\frac{4x+8-3x+9}{12}=\frac{10-5x-1}{2}

\frac{x+17}{12}=\frac{9-5x}{2}

Step 4 - Cross multiply,

2x+34=108-60x

2x+60x=108-34

62x=74

x=\frac{74}{62}

x=\frac{37}{31}

Therefore, The solution of the expression is x=\frac{37}{31}
