Step-by-step-explanation

Given :-

(x-2)(x+1)=(x-1)(x+3)

To find :-

We have to verify It is Quadratic or not ?

Solution:-

We can say when it is quadratic when it is in form of

ax² + bx +c

It is not there like this So multiply the given terms

(x-2)(x+1)=(x-1)(x+3)

x(x+1)-2(x+1)=x(x+3)-1(x+3)

x²+x-2x-2=x²+3x-x-3

x²-x-2=x²+2x-3

x²-x-2-x²-2x+3=0

3x+1=0

After simplifying,

We got 3x + 1 = 0

Here degree is 1 not 2

So, it is not a Quadratic polynomial
