Step-by-step explanation:

opening the bracket;

-x (x+2) + 1(x+2) / 5x+1=6

- -2x + x +2/5x+1=6

( - =0)

-x +2/5x+1=6

LCM is 5x

-5x + 10 /5x +1=6

By cross Multiply;

-5x +10 = 6(5x+1)

-5x + 10 = 30x +6

-5x -30x = 6 - 10

-35x = -4

so x = 35/4....

Hope it helps....

Thanks....
