x/2-x/3-x/4 =1/2 => 6x-4x-3x/12 =1/2 => -x/12 =1/2 =>
x= -12(1/2) = -6 . -6 is the solution of the above given equation. to check it is right substitute x= -6 in it ,
L.H.S. = -6/2 -(-6)/3 = -3+2 = -1 . R.H.S.= -6/4+1/2 =-1. hence L.H.S. = R.H.S. Hope it helps you...
