Answer:

x/2- x/3 = x/4 + 1/2

shifting -x/3 in the place of +1/2

x/2 - 1/2 = x/4 + x/3

Now, L.H.S have same denominator (2 )so we will simply subtract them and in R.H.S we will take L.C.M of 4,3 = 12

x-1/2 = 3x +4x/12

From L.H.S , 2 in the denominator will shift to R.H.S and Multiply.

x-1 = 7x/12× 2

x-1 = 7x/6

Now -1 from L.H.S will shift to R.H.S and will be added

x = 7x/6 + 1

Now as we know that the denominator of every Whole is 1 So

x = 7x/6 + 1/1

Taking L.C.M OF 6,1 = 6

x = 7x+6/6

By shifting 6 ( in the denominator) of R.H.S TO L.H.S

6x = 7x + 6

Now shifting 7x to L.H.S

6x -7x = 6

-x = 6

OR

x = -6

This is the answer ....

I hope it helps.
