M = { even numbers }

P = { prime numbers }

T = { odd numbers }

TO DETERMINE

P ∪ ( M ∩ T )

EVALUATION

Here it is given that

E = { x : 2 ≤ x ≤ 30, x is an integer }

∴ E = { 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ,... , 28 , 29 , 30 }

M = { even numbers }

∴ M = { 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 }

P = { prime numbers }

∴ P = { 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29 }

T = { odd numbers }

∴ T = { 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29 }

M ∩ T

= { x : x ∈ M ∧ x ∈ T }

= Φ

P ∪ (M ∩ T)

= P ∪ Φ

= P
