x/2+y/2=4 eq1

x/3+2y=5 eq2

Solve 1 and 2

x+y=4

x+6y=15

- - -

y-6y= -11

-5y= -11

y=11/5 eq 3

sub eq 3 in eq 1

x/2+11/10=4

5x+11=40

5x=29

x=29/5
