x^2-y^2=44 ;x-y =2 find value of x & y

x-y=2,........eq(1),

x²-y²=44,

(x+y)(x-y)=44,

(x+y)×2=44,

x+y=22......eq(2),

solve eq(1) & eq(2), We get

x=12,

y=10
