x² - y² + 6y - 9

= x² - ( y² - 6y + 9)

=x² - ( y² -2.3.y + 3²)

= x² - ( y - 3)²

=( x - y +3)( x + y - 3)

hence, ( x - y+3) and ( x +y -3) are two factors of x²-y²+6y -9/

hi friend,

x²-y²+6y-9

=x²-(y²-6y+9)

=x²-(y²-6y+(3)²)

=x²-(y²-2(y)(3)+(3)²)

=x²-(y-3)²

=(x+y-3)(x-y+3)

hope it helps you
