We know that by using Algebraic Identity that was :- ( a – b )² = a² – 2ab + b²

Let a = x/2 and b = y/3.

Now applying Algebraic Identity..

=> ( x/2 )² – 2 ( x/2 )( y/3 ) + ( y/3 )²

= x²/4 – xy/3 + y²/9 ........ Ans.
