X + 2 y is equals to 5, 3 x + k y - 15 is equals to zero find k when equation have unique solution and no solution

This is the answer ..

x. +2y =5

eq_2

3x + ky = 15

unique solution means...

a1/ a2 is not equal to b1/ b2 = c1/ c2

taking b1 / b2 = c1 / c2

2/k = 5 / 15

k = 6

x + 2y = 5. *3

3x + ky =15

and subract we get

6y-ky = 0

y(6-k) = 0

6-k =0/y =0

then , k = 6

equation has unique solution
