⟹ \frac{x}{2x - 2}  =  \frac{x + 5}{2x + 6}

⟹x(2x + 6) = (2x - 2)(x + 5)

⟹2 {x}^{2}  + 6x = 2x(x + 5) - 2(x + 5)

⟹2 {x}^{2}  + 6x = 2 {x}^{2}  + 10x - 2x - 10

⟹༽2 {༽x}^{༽2}  + 6x = ༽2{༽x}^{༽2}+ 8x - 10

⟹8x - 6x - 10 = 0

⟹2x = 10

⟹x =  \frac{10}{2}  = 5
