given
x(2x+5)=3
2x^2+5x-3=0
2x^2+6x-x-3=0
2x(x+3)-1(x+3)=0
(x+3)(2x-1)=0
therefore
x+3=0 or 2x-1=0
x=-3 or 2x=1
x=-3 or x=1/2

senky1: its wrong buddy
senky1: in my book the answer is-3, 1/2
