solve 2 and 1

2*2-----6x+2y=70

1-----------x+2y=17

5x=53

x=53/5

x=10.6

Subs X in 1

x+2y=17

10.6+2y=17

2y=17-10.6

2y=6.4

y=6.4/2

y=3.2
