Step-by-step explanation:

x+ 2y +2 = 0

x= -2-2y ....(1)

3x + 2y -2 = 0

putting the value of x from equation (1)

3(-2-2y) +2y -2 =0

-6 -6y +2y -2 =0

-8 -4y = 0

-4y = 8

y = 8/-4

y = -2

putting the value of y in equation (1)

x= -2 -2 × (-2 )

= -2 - (-4)

= -2 + 4

= 2.

so x= 2 , y=-2.
