3x + y = 35

★ To find :

value of x and y

★ Solution :

$\implies x + 2y = 7$

$\leadsto 2y = 7-x$

$\leadsto y = \frac{7-x}{2} ...... (1)$

by putting value of y in other equation .

$\implies 3x + y = 35$

$\leadsto 3x + \frac{7-x}{2} = 35$

$\leadsto \frac{6x + 7 -x }{2} = 35$

$\leadsto \frac{5x+6}{2} = 35$

$\leadsto 5x+6 = 35 \times 2$

$\leadsto 5x + 6 = 70$

$\leadsto 5x = 70 - 6$

$\leadsto 5x = 64$

$\leadsto\bold\purple { x = \frac{64}{5} }$
