Given: x/3 = (x + 4)/5

=> 5x = 3x + 12

=> 2x = 12

=> [x = 6]

Verification:

x/3 = 1/5 (x+4) ........... at x = 6

=> 6/3 = 1/5(6+4)

=> 2 = 10/5

=> 2 = 2

Since, Left side Expression = Right side Expression

Therefore, It is verified that x=6 is the correct solution of the given equation.

Step-by-step explanation:

x/3=1/5(x+4)

x/3=x/5+4/5

x/3-x/5 = 4/5

(5x-3x)/15=4/5

2x/15=4/5

2x=4/5×15

2x=4×3

2x=12

x=12/2

x=6

so, here is your answer nd i hope u liked it and this answer is correct.... you can also check by dividing and multiplying yourself as i have done above
