Answer:

x/3=1/5(x+4)

=>x/3=1/(5x+20)

=>5x^2+20x=3

=>5x^2+20x-3= 0

Here we apply

 \frac{ - b \:  + or -  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}

formula.

we get,

b= 20

b^2-4ac= 20^2-4.5.(-3)

=400+60

= 460

2a = 2.5= 10

putting all the value in the above formula...

[-20 (+ or -) √460]/10

= (-20+ 2√115)/10

Or,

= (-20 - 2√115)/10
