You have asked similar questions. You should know by now that x+1 or x-1 must be a factor if it can be done with integers at all (because the coefficients must divide leading and trailing coefficients of your polynomial). Also in that case x = 1 or x = -1 should be roots of the polynomial. And yes, x = -1 is a root.

So x^3 + 2x^2 + 2x + 1 = (x+1)(x^2 + ?x + 1) and you should very easily find the value of ? that makes the other terms of the product work out.

Now you have a quadratic to factor which is not possible with integers. But you can find the factors by solving a quadratic equation. Hint: the golden ratio is in there somewhere.
