that means,

(x - 3) = 0 \:  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \: (2x + 5) = 0
 \\  =  > x = 3 \:  \:  \:  \:  \: and \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: x =  -  \frac{ 5}{2}

So, x=3 or -5/2
