On Dividing f(x) = x³ - 3x² + 5x - 3 by g(x) = x² - 2
We get, q(x) = x - 3 and r(x) = 7x - 9
Then By Division Algorithm,
p(x) = q(x) × g(x) + r(x)
x³ - 3x² + 5x - 3 = (x² - 2)(x - 3) + (7x - 9)
x³ - 3x² + 5x - 3 = x³ - 3x² - 2x + 6 + 7x - 9
x³ - 3x² + 5x - 3 = x³ - 3x² + 5x - 3
LHS = RHS
